Regarding the last item on the list of signing the petition and watching how our representatives vote equaling billions of pounds of CO2 a year: There is a joke hidden in there somewhere of politicians being windbags and the CO2 they could save by not windbagging.

Recycling is good. There are people who are actually related to me who don’t recycle (gasp!). I wish that garbage trucks would put a little sticker out that reads, “No recycling? We don’t have room for all your glass and cans in our truck. Here are directions to your local dump. See you there.”
